ABOUT

Mid-State Aviation II, Inc. has been a family owned and operated business for over 35 years, and continues to grow with industry advancements, while still serving a loyal local customer base.

In September of 1975, the former Midstate Flying Service was purchased by Rod and Connie Donner, who renamed the business Mid-State Aviation II, Inc. Rod had spent several years working under Jim Stinehagen, the previous owner, where he was instilled with a passion for aviation, an education in aerial application, and the value of providing excellent customer service.

In 1979, Mid-State Aviation II, Inc. became a Cessna AG Dealer, and in 1983, evolved into a Cessna Single Service Station. They are currently known as a Cessna Single Service Facility. This change allowed the Parts Department to go from a Single Engine Source to the ability to sell parts through all Cessna Piston Twins.

Today, Mid-State Aviation II, Inc. continues to buy and sell most all makes and models of aircraft, including both AG and General Aviation, along with parts for the same. We ship parts worldwide -- if you need a part and we do not have it, our Parts department can usually find it for you!

Our Aircraft fleet has a storied history, beginning with a 1967 Piper Pawnee 235, a 1975 Piper 285 Brave, and a 1976 Cessna Ag Truck. In December of 1976 we acquired what would become our company flagship, N76AG. This aircraft would go on to become the most noted aircraft in late Cessna history, and was the only aircraft in the U.S. that was certified on July 4th, 1976, our nation’s Bicentennial.

Our current fleet is made up of an Air Tractor 502 an Air Tractor 301, a 1977 Cessna Skyhawk XP, and a 1965 Cessna 182 that is available for rental. Our dedicated team is made up of 4 pilots, 3 mechanics, a full-time parts manager, and a complete front office staff.

Since 2006, a new generation has taken over as Rod and Connie passed the torch to their daughter Allison. She now manages the day to day business, while they attempt to lower their handicap on the golf course.
